First in Indonesia Eka Hospital Launches Integrated Care

Eka Hospital launched the first program in Indonesia in the form of integrated medical care with a single tariff policy named Integrated care with one price solution. The program claimed the first in Indonesia.

Eka Hospital's Corporate Managing Director, Dr Esther Nurima said single rate medical care program is patients can consult with many specialists to only pay a one-time service charge.  
   
"So, even if the patient consults with many specialists, but only pay for a specialist," he said when giving a press statement to reporters yesterday.

Esther said to consultation with a specialist is the result of a recommendation from the general doctor or the doctor who handle the patient.
Typically, patients who have pain with weight categories, will have the services of three specialist doctors in internal disease. Then, the single rate of  medical services performed on the day, outside of the cost of medical treatment, medical support and drugs.
  
"Patients will feel enjoy by this Integrated Care Solution with One Price, because the patient usually feels heavy because it had to go to several medical specialists and the cost was expensive," he said.

Chief of Eka Hospital Medical Committee, Dr Sukman Tulus Putra, the program also applies to patients in inpatient hospitalization only charged per day. When there are five specialists who handle, then only charged one fare.
   
"Although patients only pay for a specialist but not reducing services provided because it is a major," he said.
